eh , well i was wonder what type of distortions you peeps use to get your hard sounds

right now im using distortion effects in cubase but it just sounds too digital or something, seems to just lose the bass end...

anyways just to talk about how you peeps use distortion(what plugins, guitar effect box, overloading stuff etc )...gimme some tips! i do a fast ten finger gimme gimme finger motion for you people to do a fast typing tips into computer so i can read with my eyes and eat stuff while reading

try overdrivung your bass w/ compression. programs such as t-racks are good for that!:monkey

d-pole has a rough sounding distortion. . very nice. . . also has a 12/24 pole filter (no stepping), ring mod, mod delay, bit cruncher (a" la logic) and some other neat stuff. .. .

if you support VST. . . FIND THIS PLUG IN!!!!

hah! i tried the Tracks...its suppose to be a mastering program but im using it the wrong way ;) just call me backwards ice cream happy Bruce from now on...

but hey i took your advice and it seems to smooth out that rough digital sound i was trying to talk about :D
