What sampler does everyone use, and what sampler would you like to use?

I use an Akai S2000 fully blown.
I like it because it's easy to use and it's rack-mounted.
It only has 1/4" inputs, though.

I used to use an Akai S2800, it was nice. The standard DnB sampler though is the Emu. Just ask Egorock.

WOOOOO! OK. Sometimes you need to use a specific instrument to get a ceertain sound, because of the way it processes the sound (you could try to replicate it with a Mac/PC and software, but it would be very time consuming). There are a lot of DnB tracks that have sounds that morph from one to another while simultaneously running through other filters. The way this is done is with a sampler made by a company by the name of Emu, who coincidentally made the first sampler called the Emulator. You see, a few years back (about 7 or 8 I guess) they came out with a rack mount synth called "Morpheus" which introduced a technology known as "Z-plane synthesis" which could take two distinct sounds and and combine different facets of the sounds (like the timbre) and create a morphing effect of going from one sound to the other (or anywhere in between). This technology was then incorporated into their line of samplers and has become a favorite tool of DnB producers.
