So this week we are having the hyperactive, junglistic, mash-up bizness, don-selector, one like DEHGA promising to set the standard for what it means to rock the house.
Usually D doesn't spend much time going thru his records before he plays a set, but I've heard from him daily on all the new and classic tunes he's pilling up for Thursday night.... its going to be murder :rinse
Ariel - What do you have in store for us?
Sonic plays two-step and downtempo/hip-hop - he'll be playing the opeing slot.

I love Degha's style. That bwoy has spirit. And from what I've seen he always keeps it ruff. :slayer
That goes for Preecha too. You can really see these guys love their choons.

Ok i missed Ariels set so that suxed. I slept today to get some catch up and woke up at 11 pm. Dee was off the hizzy like usual. Playing alot of vocal/housey tracks to get the booty shaking. Good girl responce imo. Then he brought out the dance floor funk us fellas like (Turn it Ovah!)... and it went on from there. Alot of people for finals week so that was good. Next will promises to be better.
Girls on the floor = :up

Last night was indeed a blast - I wasn't expecting many people because of finals, and the typical 2nd night slump when doing a weekly - but damn... you people represented! :monkey
My favorite part of the night was hearing Ariel bring in the techy-roughness of 'You Must Follow (DSL + Kaos remix)' and then going back into a chill groove. :up Zang's percussion over Ariel's entire set was spot on - really set the mood for the night.
I wish more people were dancing, but I think the past year of funk supression has made people forget how to - soon enough.
The Sky Lounge is very happy with us so far - I don't think we are too far off from the goal of opening up the downstairs for 18+.

I think I was sitting there talking to Poly and mentioning how the crowd at many times seemed like they wanted to dance but were hesitant to indeed do so. Time will unveil the truth of the Junglistic vibes into those poor souls :banana
