I was just noticing in the last coupla days, while rekkid shopping and just now posting my top 5-- the new, small labels are totally RUNNIN TINGS!!!

a year ago, it seemed like every tune worth having was coming off a big label, like Ram, TOV group, Outbreak, 31, etc... but nowadays, most tunes i rate are coming from little, new labels, like Gain/G2, Replicant, Critical, Transparent, Idioma, Cyanide, Core, Nerve, Commercial Suicide, Music4Ever... the list goes on.

I think we're in the middle of a paradigm shift in dnb sales, or at least the emergence of some new major players, and i love the new variety and quality it's infusing the scene with.

Yea, I agree. The days of being a label-whore are over. There is still good stuff coming from the heavy-weight labels, but the newbies are proving to have the"heads up" on the fresh talent.
