I'm picking them up tomorrow. I didn't get them on a cd or disk or anything b/c it would have cost me like $2 million!!! So someone will have to scan them or I can get them put on a cd at a cheap place like Cosco or where ever. I didn't take as much as I wanted to- damn film gets exspensive. The ones of Kenyata and her krew should turn out pretty nice. Anywho-- so... by this w/e.

So yeah.... I picked up my film today and the dumb-ass mother fuckers at MotoFoto ruined the last half of my film!! And the last half was all Andy C- great huh?? I got one photo of him. It's an okay one. I was soo pissed- I started crying at the counter. And then they forgot to give me doubles so I asked if I could get them free since they fucked up my film and they were being dickheads about it!! Man- if only I could afford to have my own lab life would be good. They have fucking RETARDS working at those stores. People work there who have never even taken photography or anything so they can't begin to understand what it's like when your photos don't come out b/c you need them for school or a job etc. They should all burn in hell:devil I feel like such a dork now. I was all excited to get you guys some bad-ass photos but instead I got some clear negatives from the retard-foto!! Sorry guys. I'm still going to make you copies of what I got but don't think that's the quality of photos I normallly take. So when is he coming into town again???? I will take like 500 rolls of film that night. Let me know what events you want photos from. It's on me- I owe ya!! Let's blow up MotoFoto!!:reload

I got a few good ones of Kenyata and her bitches dancin'. Hard to take photos at a club or party though b/c of the lack of light and it's almost impossible to focus. So Misty- the one I got of you is a little out of focus b/c you were in that dark corner and I had nothing to focus on-------
anyway.......................................... I feel super dooper bad. But at least we got to experience him live, in person and that beats any photo:p

Hey Katie, do you (or anyone else) know of a photo place that will develop naked pictures? I went to visit my boyfriend recently and we got a little out of hand with the pictures...and I have absolutely no idea where I can take them to get developed. He suggested hitting on some guy that runs a 1 hour photo...but I'm not just going to waltz into Walgreens and start talking smack. I know it's possible to get them developed, but have you any idea where?

Are they B+W photos? If so, try to find a photo student that can do it. Are they funny photos or "artistic" photos? Yeah- don't go to like Walgreens or K-mart or whatever. They wouldn't dev. pics of my friend holding condoms- crazy huh? (don't ask) Maybe like Ritz. try to find a place where younger people work- they are always down to see some nudity- ya know what I mean? If they don't print nude photos they will still give you the negs. and you could always try to find another place. Ya know??? I haven't done much printing in this city so I don't know where the best places are:cute

I haven't used anything but my Sony digital in so long .... which reminds me, time to buy a new SLR camera!

When it comes to photography, I'm old school. Dev. your own shit is the BEST. Don't get me wrong- Digital is extremly effective!! It's no wonder in this day in age digital is taking over though. People are too lazy to learn about film and photography and want results in an instant! How the hell do you learn from yourself if you can look at your photos 3 seconds afterwards?! You def. learn when you use a manual camera and shoot a roll of film develope it your self and print it your self. You know how long that takes- and $$$$ Anyway... I'm going to stop now b/c I'm a photo geek and could go on 4-eva.

I definitally agree .... my use of digital has to do with the application I use it for ... I take event photos (anywhere between 60 and 160 per party) ... so for that particular use digital is the best choice ... I've taken over 25000 pictures of parties in AZ and will continue to do so, since I do this for free I chose to go with digital for the particular use ...

For "standard photos" (art shots, scenery, b&w) then I always use an SLR 35mm camera ...Although I dont have the resources to develop my own photos (I will when I go back to ASU) there's just something about all the work that goes into that perfect shot that makes it amazing. Plus something about b/w shots on film just look so much more rich and deep....

So I think Digital and Film have their respective places .....

ASU got rid of there wet-labs (so I was told) It's all digital now!!:mad That is the reason I moved out here to go to that damn school and they got rid of what I wanted- assholes!!:moon

I know!!!!!!! I already have a degree in Photo so I have used wet labs for years, but these new kids won't be able to learn the real photography- it's really quite sad:( I'm just going to that school for that damn peice of paper (i know i know) I'm going to keep old school photography alive, don't you worry!!

They're *ahem* naked pictures. :) Just while in the middle of a certain act, I heard a click and lo and behold- he had my camera and was clicking away. Then to get him back, I took a picture of him taking a piss and he got a few others of me...I wouldn't even really want to see the pics, it's just that there are other pics on there of us doing stupid, cute, couple things, and seeing the fact that I see him only a few times a year as it is, any pictures of us together are important to me. :)

But thanks about the Central/Thomas idea...do you think I should tell the guy beforehand what is to be expected on the film? :)
