Ganja, an ice carmel machiato from starbucks or two red bulls, and cigs, sometimes sex. Get me amped to select, what about you all.

Usually a beer and watching the crowd for a while helps get me in the zone.

now close your eyes, and step backwards into your cave... slowly turn around... and in front of you will be your POWER ANIMAL~! "slide..."

playing a practice set w/your close friends/djroomies before you head over to the venue.... just listening to the power of the music itself and letting it wash over and thru you, soak up the bass, release all your other worries and thoughts, concentrating only on the music (not the other 500+things on your 'to do'list) ...and then hopping in your car to to get to, and rock out at said venue! :monkey

A pre-set banana, gatorade and a fresh pack of Watermelon Bubbaliscious to get me through the next two hours.

Its funny because most headliners I come across will not touch any mood altering substance before performing. I feel the same way lately

I used to freak out like crazy before I would spin now I have learned that a few drinks and a couple of hookers are good for those pre-DJing jitters...helps me get loose :banana

Im going to have to make fun of my original post. Because when I wrote this I was trying to bullshit, cause I think this site was brand spanking new when I wrote it. You know what i mean. I was trying to get the ball rolling I quess. I cringe at some of this stuff I say on here, and I re read it later. Dont ask me what my problem was, now its all way in the past, and hardly anything to get upset about.

Best warm up before mixing.

Being inspired by the dj you thought tore it up the night before. Be it famous or local.

I will probably look at this down the road and be like, Im so fucking cheesy!
