i can't really narrow it down to one song or even album...
among my favorites are the albums:

1. my bloody valentine- loveless (prolly one of the greatset albuMS OF ALL TIME)

2.eurythmics- 1984 (this album was kinda overlooked ...funny though it was at the height of their commercial success, it is really underground)

3.caberet voltaire- microphonies (this album was the beginning of future funk/synth fusion

4.boards of canada- music has a right to children (these guys know their shit!)

my song of the week though is "acen- trip II the moon" it reminds me of that moment where hardcore was transitioning into dnb...good times, when everyting was fresh and drama didn't exsit cause everyone who was there was about the music.:king

yeah i'm pretty sick of it myself, but it's still one of the best tunes ever. it' so simple and leaves so much room to build. coltrane's solo blows me away. the song just has such a cool groove.:spliff

yeah, there's no possible way to name only 1, but 'so what ' was the first to come to mind. the smashing pumpkins do rock, but i'm going to have go with pisces as my favorite album. i don't think i can cite a favorite pumpkins song, that's a hard task, i like 'obscured' alot.

Favorite of all time would have to be 'Gathering Storm' by Godspeed You Black Emperor...actually, any track on Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven! is a candidate for a favorite track.

I'm into Tool, and Rage Against the Machine (get ahold of the Chris Cornell demos if you can!), Nirvana, and Nine Inch Nails. Of course there are those classics like The Doors, Guns and FUCKIN Roses, and the #1 rock group of all time Led Zeppelin.

Muddy Waters - Champagne and Reefer never gets old either...
