Okay, it's too hard for me to settle on a favorite song, so here's a thread for naming your other fave genres/bands, etc...

Here's a few that stick out for me, on the non-electronica tip: Pixies-my favorite band, the Clash, all 80's music, jazz/big band, indie stuff like the Hives, the Strokes, etc....i'm diggin the White Stripes...Belle and Sebastian, Sonic Youth, SKA (particularly the specials, mephiskapheles, skatellites) hip-hop (DIRTY SOUTH :slayer WHAAT!) the beatles, 7-year bitch, bikini kill, they might be giants, billie holiday, james brown...

gimme gimme replies!

skinny puppy, download, genesis p., plateau, ministry, pretty much everything on warp records, radiohead, flaming lips (the new one is great for radiohead fans), miles davis, tool, primus, lee perry.....

it's cool to see that most of the people on this board have such broad tastes.:up

i love most classic rock, excluding rush
jazz- miles, mingus, silver, getz, jobim, WAYNE KRANTZ!!! etc.
radiohead, flaming lips, blind melon
hip hop- lootpack, defari, mr.lif, etc. etc. etc.
ska, punk, blah blah blah
