What is it guys "really" want?

What do you think? Do they really want love? Or are they influenced by todays "hip hop" attitude of "money power respect" is all you need in life and do what you can do acquire it. I know most of the peeps on this board, that I know, are not this sterotype im speaking of. But im sure alot of friends, like mine, are thinking this way. So they use and abuse the system in vain to find no real meaning in life and become lost in teh shuffle.

Just some thoughts i have....

at one point in everyone's life....they will discover what they truely want out of relationships. Love is something that everyone strives for no matter what type of scene you're in. The way you approach life and love is definitly influenced by your surroundings but it's you that make the ultimate choice on how you approach the opposite sex. Treat others how you want to be treated. Make your priorities in life known to yourself and then live your life with those in mind.
Be happy with who you are and love will follow. Keep your goals in sight and respect not only yourself but everyone around you. Once you realize that your peers are going through the same struggle you are in finding yourself and your way around this crazy thing we call life, you can become a more understanding and compassionate person.
All in all, I think too many people front. If you're not yourself why bother. Be real, or don't leave home.

things are only taboo when society makes it so. I work in a sex shop. Sex used to be "taboo". Something rarely talked about, and hushed when brought up. Now it's out there.

This is the same with everything. People don't decide for themselves often enough. SHEEP!!!!!!!!!! Follow the crowd, do what's deemed cool at the time.
One thing I encounter a lot with the variety of music I listen to.
yes.....i'll get down to certain n'sync tracks
yes....i did a dance routine to brittney spears
yes....i'll sway my hips and sing along to lovey dovey r&b
BUT....don't let my junglist friends find out....because it's not cool.
Give me information on the latest styles and the newest music....but do not spoon feed me because I can feed myself just fine. Do not brain wash me with your media tricks because I can think for myself. :fu

Boys grow up thinking it's cool to smoke weed, cool to hate, cool to fight, cool to cuss girls. Girls grow up with booty shorts and the ideal of what a perfect body is supposed to look like. It's not their fault though.... blame the parents not being parents. Right? wrong. Artists scream freedom of speech....we can't screen everything our kids do.

Even us though....we're children....we see people our own age on TV...getting famous...doing drugs....doing girls.... getting paid.
Money means what to you?? Good question....got a good answer??

But here we are as a community of people with the love for the same music. It brings people together who may be lost....but have found a love. Let art be your voice. Let love bring up a whole new generation of kids.

I really want to be content/happy with the things I have and don't have. I want to be capable of being content/happy with my current situation no matter what the circumstances.

Then I want to learn to be a more compassionate person. I don't want to be so jaded and cynical, as i am today.

Then I want to use that compassion to help people directly and indirectly.

After that I wouldn't mind sharing my life with another -- with like minded values.

That's what the logical/spiritual side wants. My instictual/animalistic side wants success, money, girls, and every other illogical, self serving, temporary pleasurable, material thing.

Happiness is forever. Pleasure is only temporary. What do you want?
