So do any of you dnb djs play anything besides dnb? Just curious.

I use to play happy hardcore (laugh all you want!) and today I decided to play a few records. I ended up playing an entire crate of hhc and I actually had fun. ahaha.

Good ol' Paul Elstak, Robbie Long+Devestate, and Brisk. boh! ;)

Mostly hip-hop, but I like to focus my selection on the eclectic mix.

I have some hardcore and UK style techno records aside from dNb. I learned doing hardcore, but I prefer breakcore. All of my breakcore is back home, I'm getting that and more at the best record store in the world when I visit for New Years.

The thing about hardcore is, I would always get pissed off. So by the end of my sets, I would be hurling my records across the room and for a few hours after, still be in a shitty mood. It's only hardcore that does this to me...and it's not all the time. Just sometimes....

UK techno is fun for MIXING. However, since I have a stupid Numark Blue Dog for a mixer for right now (hey, it was freE), mixing isn't really possible. Sigh...when I get more money..

Lately though, I've been wanting to spin more IDM influenced things...I'm sick of jungle sort of..

how u mix the hardcore and if your spinning shit faster than 180 bpm it tends to get a lil harder. just remember half time the count!
2,4,6,8 etc

In my backup crate I have a little hip-hop (mostly Souls&Hiero), Funky breaks & eclectic house (lots o' Hardkiss&Sunburn), a little hardcore, and 9 crates of hard house, and 20 and one half crates of happy hardcore.
