Those are really inaccurate numbers considering 50% of the U.S. population lives in rural poverty.

Actually the thread was started as an experiment to see what interesting conversation would take off from the (literally) infinite topics related to the number above. So this thread could be about the Golden Mean, or it could be about an apple.
