Tonights Review....

Well I got there and heard the last 30 mins of Dee's set and was LOVING it. That was some of the best ive heard him. The set was storytellin imo. Getting that one on the site asap :) Nappe quite frankly "let it loose". No holds barred roughness. I was in hope for a few more musical bits and mabey some more funky ladies choonz, but none the less a tearin night! The 2 ragga choonz were for the heads up in the house.

DFT laying down the garage and those phat phat basslines! Nice one. Dee mixed it up nice. tight mixes all around...but nappe...ahhh..haven't heard a ruff set like that for awhile...of course, i missed BC, so...:-)

For anyone who saw the video playing around 10:30~11:00 that had some rather harsh imagery (holocast images, third-world slums, chicken factory) it wasn't our intention to show that. The first part of that video/documentary (Baraka) has some of the most beautiful imagery of nature and old cultures, but then progresses into showing some of humanity's dark side. Adam and I were in the back office negotiating our agreement for the night with the manager for an hour, and I forgot about the tape that was playing. :eek

I highly recommend everyone check out that video, btw... its an eye opener.

Yeah, if DFT was playing his garage/2step later in the evening, I think the floor would have been flooded w/ most of the ladies there.

Hell yeah, video mixing is the shit. Intrested in helping out, I do 3d animation and graphic design, would do it for free to get in or somthin like that. At least you dident have stupid 3d rainbows or carebears. Bring on the 187 murder jungle, fuck trance.
