View Full Version : What's your desktop look like?

I made more progress today in my quest to bite apple's os-X/aqua look and functionality as much as possible...

StyleXP for window theme, ObjectDock for the dock bar (it works great), Y'z Shadows for the drop shadows and transperancy everywhere. All this stuff it pretty lightweight and hasn't slowed my system down much:

ya so i know the tile effect is a little lame but i thought it fit the eyes quite nicely to make a kinda modern art type thing or something...i dont know much about that kinda crap but i like it

deepfreq- don't those visual effects kill your audio performance?

I keep my XP Pro at the minimal, no FX, Win 2000 style

if the difference is negligible, though, it would be nice to have some purty graphics and whatnot...
