I need an alternative to dial-up! (which is what my condo currently has)
I had high speed all summer and it was a blessing.
We don't have cox out here, its comcast and its $42.95 a month not including equiptment or taxes. And i dont see any special deals on the equiptment, in fact i dont even know how much it is supposed to cost.
I wanted to know if this is a good deal?
Is going with the phone company a better idea?
What are the benefits and drawbacks?
I need internet radio PRONTO, so your responses are most appreciated.

I'm a Cable Broadband Junkie but for that much you might get a better deal from a DSL line through the phone company. especially if you don't need a really fast connection.

I would say, find out how much DSL is in your area and then compare the speed verses the price to cable and you might be able to decide for yourself.
