So who's going to go tonite? I would like to come by, check it out, and meet a few of you cats...

Oh and what's up with the profiles...Is there anyway I can get mine up? Do you need a demo or something?

You'll have fun tonight, fer sure... good crowd, and the headlining dj is a female, and Suont will be laying live vocals over Egorock's set.

To get your profile on the site, you do need to do only one thing: play drum n' bass, dub, idm, 2-step or dancehall.

If It had to be breaks ,
ELEKTRO,
sick ass dark, technical, energy constant, ELEKTRO...

and to the privious post..
Im not tring to offend anyone by saing this , But 2-step sux.
mabey not all of it, some tracks I can bob my head to but, for the most part,, its too in-between shit. Mabey I havent heard enough to really have an opinion, but I like breaks (elektro) and I like D&B, 2-step just hasnt grabbed me yet.(no-one said I had to either) but anyways ... hopefully no-one takes that shit the wrong way.
Keep them heads ringin.

It's a shame that local promoters catering to other electronic genres don't have as much enthusiasm about their scene as we do. Back when Galaxy Girl started Az-Raves, the scene was small enough that everything could be lumped into one website conglomerate (that's a tricky one to spell)...but it really has grown and branched off. As far as being a breaks enthusiast, you will always be welcomed on this board, but it would be neat if you got something together supporting your own interests as well. It'd be cool to see more headz in the underground doing things to promote their music.

That's already in the works...My crew (sick vibe) and I are working on things. We are planning a few partys of our own and some other things but like I said before I try to support anything that will be positive for our scene and I like to support the local DJ's no matter what type of music it is. My opinion is that it's all music and it's the reason we are here

SIC.,,,, Im waiting for some inhouse Breaks in PHX..
Breaks sort of lost its following, the past few years, but I would have to say the quality of breaks was lost the past few years...
hopefully I can do something about that , the second I finish purchasing all my needed equipment.. Ive got alot of ideas,,
dont think that D&B isnt involved,, but my skills lean twards breaks.. I still got mad love for D&B, had it for years now.. so dont think im a trader,, folks. I still represent , but for the most part I represent Electronic Musik.... I lean this or that way on any given sunday...

Breaks are great I love them. I am actually the only breaks DJ in the crew. We are all over the board musically which I love.
