My computer is getting bogged down with Spyware and Adware.

Ad-aware isn't finding everything.

I downloaded SpyBot (SpyHunter) but it wants me to purchase the real version to remove the files.

Is there any other freeware I can use to fix this?

Thanks.

never heard of spy hunter, get spybot, serch and destro, its freeware, hands down the best program. Make sure after you install it, use the update function and it will update much like a antivirus program

heres the link....

I thought I was downloading Spybot at first, and the name SpyHunter came up. I've never heard of them either, but they wanted me to pay for it. :rolleyes

So, I downloaded Spybot and so far things seem ok. Im still getting some pop-ups but I probably just have to reboot and run it again to remove everything.

:rinse SPYWARE :reload

www.google.com

get their free toolbar, it has a badass popup blocker built in, and its free. Mine's caught 2000+ popups since about oct or nov.

delete everything it finds, my parent's machine had 300+ items found by Spybot and Ad-Aware.
