best japanese flicks (non-animated)

pretty much anything directed by takashi miike ("dead or alive," "ichi the killer," "visitor q") is bound to at least get you to say "what the shit?" that's why i like him; he's like the tarantino of japan... but better, or more disturbing, i still can't decide which.

also i liked parasite eve and ringu was pretty good as well for horror type flicks.

and i just watched this movie called "onmyoji" and i absolutely loved it! :love

i know there's tons of good ones out there, but i'll leave it up to the other one or two people on this board that have a clue of what i'm talking about.

SHOWER is really good-but i think thats chinese-im not sure havent seen it in awhile-but its cute-about a father and his 2 sons , the father owns a bathhouse-one son moves away and the other son is mentally retarded-you should peep it
