Started a new track last night... only about 2 hours into it, but I like where its going and thought I'd get some input from the other producers up in here:

Well like you said at the party, asking a producer for an opinion on a track futile but here goes none the less...
Drums: Sound decent, layering drums is always a good idea, sometimes I will layer at least 10 drums over one another. The only thing I'd like to see is a bit more change ups (nothing crazy like my last track), but just something to keep it more interesting. I thought the drums also sounded a bit flat, so maybe a tiny bit of reverb to give them that depth perspective, especially if the setting is in the desert, and you want that wide open feel to it.
Bass: Well unfortunatly i heard this on dry speakers and it just sounded like a sound file to me with some gating. I've always been a fan of ADSR's on just sub bass, especially the A part, i like to play with it through out a song to adjust the quickness, just a suggestion, otherwise it gets the job done.
Synth: I dig the ambience with the delayed echo effects and stereo manipulation. I could tell you paid decent attention to this based on the length of when the echo's would start and end and how the low pass was being being adjusted etc. The synth that comes in gated when it drops is nice. I just can't stand the raspy synth afterwards. Thats the one thing I couldn't put in the back of my head while the song was playing, maybe sink it into the mix a bit more or add some sort of texture to it besides obtuse saturation.
Mixability: perfect, everything started ended and dropped exactly when it is supposed to, you definatly mastered the art of making record - pressing - friendly tracks.
All in all I give it a 6/10... its was a fun song to chill with in the background, but i personally wouldn't be go ape shit over it if i was previewing it on juno.co.uk
