On the first day of class we direct our students to post a short bio for the other students and instructors to read. Here is a bio that was posted this past Thursday:
Hello, my name is Mark and I will be one of your classmates. I work for ***** in Philadelphia, PA in the international customs clearance end of the business. Originally from Buffalo, NY I have lived in Dayton, OH; Louisville; KY and now Philly. I am 46 years old, married with three boys ranging in age from 17 to 11.
I am pursuing my degree in order to improve my chances for promotion. Also, to show my children the benefits of getting an education at early age when you can focus solely on college and not go through all these headaches like I am now. Because this is quite the pain in the ass.
