Its my dirty little secrect, dont tell anyone! Vampire Hunder D: Bloodlust 2000 was pretty cool on the big screen, nice animation, dub was ok, but the plot was pretty stale and clique'ish not that im an anime freak or anything :slayer. Yoshitaka Amano really knows how to throw down! Whenever I buy into the DVD BS I will have to own it sometime.

If you guys dig anime, peep "serial experiments: Lain".

Its crazy, a sort of twisted, postmodern look at the technocracy's invasion on our daily life, and how the internet ( called "the wired" in Lain) has so permeated every facet of existence, that real life feels virtual and vice versa.

These people live online, in a computer world, and visit the real one occasionally. If you saw Cronenberg's flick "existenz" its along the same philosophical lines, the blurring of the boundaries between fantasy and reality and such.

Sounds trite, preachy, and played, but it isnt. It's deep. Peep it if you can.

Ive been meening to rent some of that series (I think its a series?). All my cool anime pals down on baseline and rural tell me its the "shiznit" as they say. THey say if I like Battle Angel and Ghost in the shell, its a must!

personally i think the simpsons is the best cartoon out. but im just a hardcore fan maybe too much sometimes.....anyway im so happy someone mentioned lain! after i saw lain the first time i quickly fell in love and it became one of my favorite animes of all time! so woo lain and woo to whoever mentioned it :love sorry i forgot who it was
