People are different and THAT proves that some kids can be effected by this negative image on TV. I mean do you really think that glamorizing his state of mind by this medium is healthy? To help kids think you can be crazy and have money at the same time? Or that feeling the way he (Eminem) does is acceptable and normal. Alot of kids think this is "normal" thinking if they feel similar. Then they see a guy who shines with these qualities and is making money and commandin power. Im sorry but if you are helping kids and you havent studied the way TV DOES effect the youth in one way or the other, then you might want to go back and take the associated classes. This is common knowledge but its doesn't mean all kids are affected, just a percentage who are mental/emotionally weaker at that time.

Well, in a situation like that, that's when the parents of these kids need to step in and look at what their kids are listening to/watching on TV. Fact of the matter is we do have freedom of speech. To many people blame the television networks or hollywood for the violence on TV. These people are not here to raise your children, they are here to entertain. What one person may find entertaining another might not so then if you don't like it then turn it off.

All in all Eminiem is just speaking the truth about his life. Do you think he would have turned out the way he did if his parents had taken an active roll in his life?

He may in fact be speaking the truth but Hollywood/MTV is banking on his pain and is turning it into a "ok" situation for kids. I do agree parents are the first block for kids and what they watch. But futher down the line, Hollywood and MTV need to take a more active role in helping lead the youth somewhere better. But the love of money will make one throw away his humanity.

Eminem is like the rap version of the backstreet boys in some ways. I totally dispise about 75% of the rap thats been made in the last 5 years.
