Your right it’s not nature’s fault but it’s out responsibility to take and show our dominance over nature. We must create large thriving communities on all parts of her surface, build great fountains in the desert, turn forests into super-mega-shopping centers and parking lots, drain lakes to make slurpees and mountain dew, dam rivers to create lakes (to replace the ones we drained) then cage and tame the animals for our amusement.

Fire is nature’s way of acting up and we must smite her something fierce with the open hand of progress and development. And stuff…

But its not natural when its our fault. I dont know about this one in particular, but alot of them are our fault. All the fire we get here is not healthy.

it's been a long time since this thread. but the significance is still strong. the site of bare land in the desert may seem like it's supposed to be familiar, but the cactus that lay limp used to thrive all throughout these lands. Now, the cholla and other true desert natives, human and otherwise are being slowly pushed from natural grazing areas. Development is a progress not intended to work this efficiently in my eyes. Our World turns fast in the eyes of those present. Please, remember my scenes.
